The Emus are looking forward to the highly anticipated home game against their archrivals from Berlin on Saturday, 26th (starting 14:00), in Esslingen.
“It’s always great fun to play the Berlin side, they are good blokes. But it’s highly competitive, maybe the most competitive game of the season. I can’t wait!” says Fabian Kroll of the Emus.
A win could drive the Emus into the Top-3 section of the ladder at the end of the season, which would be an outstanding success for the 2nd-season young guns from Stuttgart.
With almost no injuries on the sideline and a fully packed effort-soaked 26-man-squad the players are giving the coaching staff a hard time to choose the starting 16, according to Fabian: “The past weeks have been great for us with no games and really intense and effective training sessions. We are ready to blow them off the field! It’s our homeground, it’s hard to beat us here.”
The Emus are hoping for a good number of spectators on the sidelines. The weather is going to be great and there’s beer being sold during the game. The restaurant on the premises also offers great food for the aftermath of the game. We’ll see you there!
